This course is ideal for those wanting to learn about scoring and timing netball matches, starting at local and regional level, progressing up to Vitality Netball Superleague and international level.
To gain the EN Technical Officials Award, anyone interested must attend a EN Technical Officials course (https://engage.englandnetball.co.uk/coursefinder) anyone can attend but having a umpiring award is advantageous.
Having done the course the learner must complete at least two recorded experiences of the four Technical Officials roles which have to be signed off in their record card.
Learners will work with their county and regional umpiring secretaries to get opportunities to do this. Copies of all paperwork, record card and course attendance certificate are submitted to EN to be considered to gain the award.
